She still sneaks into my bed at night and smooshes me in to where I can’t even breathe.
My husband ends up going downstairs to the couch because he eventually gets pushed out of bed.
Before Aliyah came, it never really bothered me.
I actually enjoyed having my little girl snuggled up to me.
But now I have no room.
I can’t breathe.
She’s gotta get the heck out! So we’re bribing the girl.
5 night of her sleeping in her bed {that is literally right next to mine} and she gets a princess canopy!
This morning…. at 8am my little girl slept in her own bed!
Talk about one proud mama.
What the little diva doesn’t realize……
her bed along with princess canopy will be in HER ROOM!
Day 1 down…. 4 to go. Please, Lord, let the work, because I NEED SOME FLIPPING SLEEP!
Ohhh maybe I should try that with Noah! He always comes crawling into our bed sometime between 2 and 3am – I usually end up with 5 inches of bed to sleep on and we have a king!! Let us know how it works out for her (and you!!)

Try it! It totally worked… she snuck into my bed the other night though haha.
I think that’s a great bribe! Good luck with it.
My little girl slet in my bed for almost a year. It stated when she was three and then by four she wanted her independence. I don’t know what happened, but it was glorious when I got my queen size bed back! Good luck! And Aliyah is beautiful! I love your photos

Thank you! It’s so hard when they’re sneaking in when you only have a queen sized bed UGH! It’s going pretty well…. for the most part she’s in her own bed {with princess canopy} and in her own room! Her bed was actually in my room before, but princess canopy couldn’t go up in mine! LOL
She’s such a cutie! Hope it works for you- mamas need sleep!

So far so good! Boy we really do need our sleep!
Oh I know what you mean. My daughter used to do the same thing.
By the way, I just LOVE those pictures of her. Did you take them? Wow, they are beautiful. I’m trying to learn more about photography.
Crystal, I’m so excited you’re learning about photography. I’m bummed I don’t live there so we can hang out and I can teach ya things I know and you can teach me things you know. We’re so much alike I think it would be so much fun!
